I have to admit, I was a little nervous about sleeping in the hammock during our stay in Jasper. Not to the thought of a bear using me as a sleeping bag sandwich, but to the thought of waking up cold and having to shiver my way to the belly of the beast, which contained my fellow family members. However, I survived the night, and with great comfort I might add. I was warm and snug, as a bug in a rug.

The days were getting shorter, and the birds were scarce. Yet we hadn't clued in that winter was coming. When we first started the website, we never actually thought we would stay until it snowed before we left town. We should have taken the name Snow to Sand more literally. Fortunately, our little overweight van which we now call "Home" is scheduled to depart tomorrow morning. Our first stop will be (Drum roll please)..... Grand Prairie, Alberta. I have big plans and dreams, but I suppose we need to start with small steps. Luckily we will only be there for a few hours. Then we will carry on through to Jasper and spend the night at one of the campsites. We're aiming to be in Cranbrook by Monday. Feel free to explore the pages as I've made quite a few changes/updates. Here's a frosty photo of my'n to keep you interested. Will update you soon!
